“A DVIDA certified ballroom dance instructor has achieved an objective, national standard of professional excellence. Certified instructors have been through a rigorous examination process that tests their dancing, their teaching, and their kinesthetic knowledge of the technical aspects of each dance figure. Less than 5% of ballroom dance instructors are professionally certified; those that are demonstrate a true dedication to their students and to the art of ballroom dancing. They are the ultimate champions of the ballroom world." -- Diane Jarmolow, www.teachballroomdancing.com |
